1) Who we are
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Cosmiclatte Learning Hub (the “Platform”), provided by Cosmic Latté Technologies Private Limited (“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”), headquartered in Bengaluru, India.
By creating an account, enrolling in a course, or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2) Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old (or have verifiable parental/guardian consent) to use the Platform.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activity under your account.
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.
3) Courses, Access & Certificates
Access: Course access may be time‑bound or lifetime depending on the course page. Any access duration will be clearly stated at purchase.
Content: Courses may include videos, documents, quizzes, assignments, and live sessions. We may update, add, or remove content to improve quality or reflect industry changes.
Certificates: Completion certificates (if offered) are issued based on stated criteria (e.g., attendance, assignments, assessments). Certificates do not guarantee employment.
4) Pricing, Payments & Taxes
Prices are shown in the checkout. We may run promotions or change pricing at any time.
Payments are processed through approved payment gateways. By purchasing, you authorize us (and our payment processors) to charge your payment method.
You are responsible for any applicable taxes. Tax details (e.g., GST) will be displayed on invoices where applicable.
5) Refunds & Cancellations
Default Refund Policy (example—customize as needed):
Full refund within 2 days of purchase if less than 10% of the course has been consumed and no downloadable materials have been accessed.
No refund after 2 days or if more than 10% of the course content is consumed, or if a certificate has been issued.
For live/cohort programs, refunds/cancellations and seat transfers may have different timelines; refer to the specific course page.
To request a refund, contact support@cosmiclatteindia.in with your order ID.
6) Intellectual Property (IP)
All course materials (videos, text, slides, code snippets, PDFs, assignments, assessments) are owned by Cosmic Latté Technologies or its licensors and are protected by IP laws.
We grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to access and use the content solely for your personal, non‑commercial learning.
You must not copy, record, download (except where explicitly allowed), share, resell, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without written permission.
7) User Conduct
You agree not to:
Share, sell, or transfer your account or course access.
Upload viruses, malicious code, or attempt to bypass access controls or DRM.
Harass, abuse, or harm instructors, learners, or staff.
Post or share content that is illegal, infringing, or violates these Terms.
Use the Platform for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.
8) Community & Live Sessions
Be respectful in forums, chats, and live classes.
We may moderate or remove content that violates policy.
We may record live sessions for quality, replays, or academic purposes. By attending, you consent to such recordings (we aim to avoid displaying personal info where possible).
9) Third‑Party Tools & Links
The Platform may integrate third‑party tools (e.g., video hosting, proctoring, payments) or link to external sites. We’re not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.
10) Privacy & Data
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal data.
By using the Platform, you consent to our data practices, including communications (service, transactional, and limited marketing).
You can opt out of marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link.
11) Academic Integrity
All submitted work must be your own unless collaboration is expressly permitted.
Cheating, plagiarism, or misuse of assessment tools may result in warnings, grade penalties, access suspension, or account termination without refund.
12) Availability & Maintenance
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
We may perform maintenance or updates, scheduled or emergency, which may temporarily affect service.
13) Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform and all content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non‑infringement. Course outcomes (including employment) are influenced by many factors and are not guaranteed.
14) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cosmic Latté Technologies and its officers, directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of revenue, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for any claims related to the Platform will not exceed the amount you paid for the course giving rise to the claim in the 12 months preceding the incident.
15) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your misuse of the Platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
16) Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access (with or without notice) if we believe you violated these Terms, caused risk or possible legal exposure for us, or for non‑payment. Upon termination, licenses granted to you will end, and you must stop using the Platform.
17) Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last Updated” date and, where material, provide notice via email or in‑app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
18) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
Governing Law: The laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Dispute Resolution: We encourage resolving issues informally first. If unresolved, disputes may be referred to arbitration in Bengaluru under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, by a sole arbitrator appointed mutually. Proceedings in English.
